Sound absorption principle of dual component sound absorbent cotton

Unique integration of several advanced process technologies, such as melt blowing, air flow carding, spunbonded, etc.
Sound absorbent cotton is a lightweight, fluffy composite material made through a specially designed process.
Working principle: A three-dimensional mesh structure is formed inside the sound-absorbing cotton, and the interwoven fibers have a wide range of fiber sizes, ranging from microfibers with a diameter of 1-4 µ m to coarser fibers with a diameter of 20-40 µ m. When sound waves vibrate through the pores between fibers, the energy of sound waves is converted into thermal energy under the action of friction losses, which effectively shields and isolates sound waves at different frequencies.
